Progression Check Grid Overview.
A. Place all of the key learning topics from an individual examination PE syllabus unit onto the mat. [E.g. all of the major learning topics/questions covered in Motion and Stability on the A Level OCR exam specification]
B. Grade each squares difficulty referring to command words [identify, describe, explain] or the amount of learning material/answers associated with that question [more being harder].
C. Allow time in the lesson [starters, mini plenaries, hinge points] for students to take notes or discuss their learning on certain topic questions. Provide students with a blank version of the #PCGrid to note take.
D. Use the #PCGrid to inform lesson planning, provide the students with a 1 page overview of the topic material or track progress throughout a lesson.
